The State of the Art of American Poetry: Now Online!

    And I like the century "skips" in the piece--really makes it more readable. Gaps in time are always enlightening....

  3. That was one of the best histories of poetry in English I've ever read. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if you'd written about each era in period prose.
